Warsop Main Colliery From Opening To Closure (1889-1989)(Part 02)

   

134-The first Warsop Main Colliery waste tip, which was built adjacent to the end of the houses on the bottom rows, contained quite a large percentage of coal which was discarded in the early days when only large coal was saleable. Around 1980, this tip in total was transported by lorry, to the closed Langwith Colliery site where the original Washery Plant remained operational.
